BUGIS BAGUS
SHAKA WIZ a.k.a. J.P.P.U-KNOW-ME
You?
TRAVIS ROLFES
JUICY ROCK
OPY's main female vocalist joined the group in 2009 and captured on track and camera in 2010, when "The Funk In Your Funk" was launced. Her natural and beautiful voice takes you back to the days of the major funk, mixed with todays flow. From Mavis Staples to Tracy Chapman, Lynn Collins to Betty Davis; you can find a piece of each and everyone in her presence.
LPJ
Le Batteur Du Funque. OPY's first drummer layin' down funky beats as easy as one number 2 and that's no bullshit. Influenced by Prince Roger Nelson, Sly & The Family Stone and Tony Allen, this born and raised in The Hague funkateer is not in charge of his drumkit, but actually plays his drumkit.
EFARTU LA TUHERU
Senior member of OPY in more than one way. Born in 1964 out of a Moluccan father - hence the beautiful surname - and a Dutch mother. Member of OPY since 2004, just after being reconnected to da funk by da Funky Twins. Plays da bass since being with OPY, but also performs vocal duties since 2009. Likes al kinds of groovy music. Like former OPY-member Fuzzhead used to say: It doesn't have to be FUNK, but it's got to be FUNKY.
LONGSLEEVEMASTAH

Addicted to funk music since 1987 (caused by James Brown’s “Make It Funky”). Started playing bass guitar in 1992 after the first signs of massive music abuse occurred. Decided to join the funk forces around 1998 in order to keep the funk alive, soon handling the microphone instead of the bass guitar. His favourite artists: Parliament, Funkadelic, James Brown & The JB’s, Bootsy Collins, The Temptations, Four Tops, Fela Kuti and Public Enemy.
WAHAZE
Became musician at the age of 5 when got his hands on a small Casio keyboard. Got into Reggae and Dub during his High School period, got into funk during the early 90’s. Togetherwith his older brother LongSleeveMastaH, WaHaze created OctavePussY (OPY) in 1998. His favourite artists: Isaac Hayes, Curtis Mayfield, Mad Professor, Israel Vibration, Gladiators, Fela Kuti and Lee Perry.
